S.J. Barratt is a small, privately owned, family building and maintenance company, formed in 1985. Originally concentrating on carpentry and joinery, we later added decorating and fine arts and now provide clients with a complete professional building service, from abseiling to window replacement.
We are a well respected organisation priding itself on attention to detail, particularly with our refurbishment and repairs service on traditional and listed buildings.
Abseiling works
We don’t just carry out traditional repairs and maintenance, our abseiling tradesmen can work in hard to reach areas and confined spaces, carrying out repairs, window cleaning and observational works. Abseiling is also a cost effective alternative to erecting scaffolding or specialist lifting equipment and platforms.
Woodwork/Joinery repairs
Are parts of your building looking beyond repair? Fire and water damage, wood rot, brick work and pointing in a hopeless state?
